What does your photo give away?
See the location, camera, edit history, Content Credentials and AI labels hidden in a photo. It’s checked here, in your browser: the photo isn’t uploaded anywhere.
On iPhone and iPad, Safari leaves out the location of a photo you choose from Photos unless you turn it on under Options at the top of the picker. Turn it on there, or choose the photo from Files, to see everything it carries.
This check reads the data stored in the file. Watermarks hidden in the pixels, such as Google SynthID, can’t be read this way.
Remove it with PhotoCleanr
Cleaning runs on our server in Germany, so it needs an account and an upload. PhotoCleanr removes the location, device details, edit history, comments, Content Credentials and hidden videos, keeps author and copyright information, and doesn’t re-encode the picture. An image whose Content Credentials hold author or rights information is left unchanged, at no cost. Each clean copy uses one credit, and the photo is deleted when you download it, within an hour in any case.
