For Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code and Cursor
Let your AI tool clean the photos.
Connect PhotoCleanr to the AI tool you already use. Ask it to clean an image, or a whole folder, and it removes the location, camera details and edit history before anything is shared.
The same credits as on the website: one per cleaned image.
Clean where you already work
PhotoCleanr runs an MCP server: the standard way AI tools connect to other services. Your tool calls it when you ask, and gets back what was found and the clean copy.
Claude Code, Cursor
A whole folder at once
The agent gets a private upload link and sends each file on your computer straight to PhotoCleanr. The clean copies are saved next to the originals; the files don’t pass through the chat.
ChatGPT
Images in the chat
Attach a photo and ask ChatGPT to check or clean it. It gets the report and a link to the clean copy.
Claude
Images on the web
Give Claude the address of an image, such as a listing photo or a picture on your site, and it checks and cleans it. Images attached to a Claude chat can’t be sent on; for files, use Claude Code.
What you can ask
-
Claude Code, Cursor
“Clean all the photos in ./products before I upload them to the shop.”
-
Claude Code, Cursor

Sign in and approve
Your tool opens PhotoCleanr, which shows what the tool may do. Disconnect it any time under Settings, AI tools.
Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http photocleanr https://photocleanr.com/mcp
Then run /mcp in Claude Code to sign in.
Cursor
{"mcpServers":{"photocleanr":{"url":"https://photocleanr.com/mcp"}}}
Add it to .cursor/mcp.json, then sign in when Cursor asks.
What your tool can do
Send images for cleaning and use your credits, one per cleaned image, and read your balance.
What it can’t see
Images you cleaned anywhere else, your account details or your payment details. The company behind the tool receives the report and the link to the clean copy, under its own privacy terms.
Deleted within the hour
Images are cleaned on our server in Germany and deleted within an hour. The link to the clean copy works until then.
Questions
What is MCP? +
The Model Context Protocol: the standard way AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT connect to other services. PhotoCleanr runs an MCP server, so your tool can call it when you ask.
Do my files go through the AI chat? +
Not with Claude Code or Cursor: the agent sends each file straight to PhotoCleanr through a private link and saves the clean copy. In ChatGPT the image is already in the chat, and ChatGPT passes PhotoCleanr a link to it.
What does it cost? +
The same credits as on the website, and the first cleaned image is free. A credit is used when an image is cleaned, because the tool gets the clean copy right away. An image with nothing to remove costs nothing. Without credits, your tool still gets the report and the link to buy credits.
Does cleaning hide that an image was made with AI? +
No. PhotoCleanr removes data stored in the file, which can include Content Credentials, but it doesn’t change where an image came from or any duty to say that AI was used. Watermarks hidden in the pixels, such as Google SynthID, stay. Your tool gets the report as it is, including an AI label.
Does it work with other AI tools? +
Other tools that connect to MCP servers with OAuth sign-in may work. If yours doesn’t, write to us.
